FIS PARA GAALAA November 29th and 30th 2025

💥Competition Venue Information
The stadium is located at Lokkarsletta 5, 2646 Gålå.
There will be a simple café at the stadium with food and drinks.
The venue is about a 1-hour drive from Lillehammer. We recommend staying in Lillehammer, as the hotels in Gålå are poorly adapted for wheelchair users.

💥Logistics
Travel information
The best route to Gålå when arriving at Gardermoen Airport is as follows:
-       Take E6 heading towards Hamar/Trondheim.
-       Continue on E6 in the direction of Lillehammer.
-       Once you reach Lillehammer, you're one hour 20 minutes away from Gålå.
-       From Lillehammer, continue on E6 for approximately 80 kilometers
         Exit to Gålå, this is the first exit atfter the second road tunnell from Lillehammer. 

💥Local Transport
We recommend having a rental car during the competition.

💥Accommodation and food
You will have to arrange food and accommodation on your own. Contact the hotels and make your own accommodation bookings. Here are some of our recommendations:

National athletes make an entry by ISonen

Team Captain Meeting will be held online via Teams Friday 28.11 at 7 pm.  Link for the meeting 

💥 Wax Cabins/Wax place
👉 Deadline for booking waxcabin/places at Venue is 14 th November, 9 pm CET

📌Waxing place in a heated hall;
 10,5 m2 :  6250 ,- inkl. tax 
👉The prices include parking for one car pr. waxing place
👉There will be security at the area, but equiment is stored at your own risk
👉Waxplaces will be distributed and invoices sent out immediately after the registration deadline (14th Nov 9.00 PM) obs: The invoice must be paid before use.
👉 Payment after 14 th Nov will give a higher price (NOK 7875 incl tax).
👉We cannot garantee available waxplaces after 14th november

📌 Tenants are responsible for extension cords and electrical equipment being free from faults that trip surge protectors and earth fault circuit breakers. 
In the event of problems with the equipment and a proven fault, the LOC will refuse to continue using the equipment

There will be some reserved places near the startarea for the Para athletes. Cars with sitting athletes will have priority.

💥Competition Schedule 
This event is an integrated event with the able-bodied
Full competition schedule with more details to be completed.
👉 Thursday 28.11: 10:00 - 13:00: Official Training    
It's possible to use the tracks untill 8PM, then it will close for preparations for competition Friday.                        
👉 Saturday 29.11: sprint Classic - all classes 
This will be organized a bit differently than in WC.
All athletes will be allowed race in the semifinals.
For the finals: 
Both genders are competing in the same finals for the different categories: sitting, standing, and VI.
Of course, there will be separate result lists for all categories: sitting, standing, og VI, women, and men.

💥 Participant Insurance
With the issuance of a licence to participate in FIS competitions and entry, the National Ski Association confirms that valid and sufficient accident insurance for training and competition is in place for the competitor and assumes full responsibility.
